DRX9000 Spinal Decompression Therapy is both gentle and painless.
The Spinal Decompression motion is computer controlled to provide gentle and painless decompression of the spinal intervertebral discs. The DRX9000 slowly cycles between brief moments of pulling and relaxing called ‘decompressive oscillation’. The slow increase and decrease in the therapeutic ‘pull’ of the DRX9000 prevent muscles from protectively contracting. These protective muscle spasms contributed to the poor success rate of outdated “traction” techniques like SpineMed Traction, Triton Dynamic Traction System (DTS) and computerized traction like the Accu-Spina Traction. Advanced DRX9000 technology also incorporates angulated elongation methods to target specific discs of the spine (example: L5/S1 disc at the base of the spine). “Angulated Elongation” refers to the angle at which the decompression pull is applied. Customizing the angle of decompression for each patient’s unique condition allows the treatment to rely less on brute force (separating multiple levels with high force) and more on finesse (using less decompressive pull to focus on a single spinal segment) to rehabilitate individual spinal discs.
